The Niland’s Funeral Service Inc took its Facebook page and wrote,” Elsie Gauthier Jarreau, a native and resident of Glynn, La, passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 94. Elsie enjoyed spending time cooking, picking pecans, and picking cotton. Elsie is survived by her son, Randall Jarreau; grandson, Josh Jarreau; and numerous nieces and nephews”.
How Did Ray Gauthier Die?
In the Gauthier Family Homestead near Ouellette, Ray Gauthier spent his formative years. His extended family there included numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, but Laurette (Harry) Gustavsen, whom he referred to as his maternal grandmother, was the one who brought him up. His academic career began in a one-room schoolhouse, and it was concluded by his acceptance from the Cluny-based CBV school.
At her last time, she was survived by his wife Commissioner Branda Lucki, his son Kevin, daughter Traci, step-daughter Elizabeth, grandsons, Sam & Louie, sisters Bard & Bonnie, nieces & nephews, stepmother Leona, brother David, stepbrothers Bill & Bob Eugene, stepsisters Bev & Judy as well, and many relatives, and friends too.
